Hi all!
This time, we are going to write about our experience when visiting to "La Libertad" school. The idea is that you write 4 paragraphs describing and considering the following information for such purpose:
1 paragraph: Where, when and with who I went there.
2 paragraph: How was there?
3 paragraph: Who I met there?
4 paragragh: How can I help, what can I do for the child/ren there?
2. Language/writing aspects:
- Grammar use: Past tense, Past continuous or progressive, modal verb: can/can't.
- Simple structure: subject + verb + complement.
- Look for useful vocabulary you need, spelling,
punctuation rules, etc.

ReplyDeleteLast thursday 17th march I went to "La Libetad" school, located in Bolívar neighborhood. I went with other students from Cristo Rey school.
First we arrived to the school, we entered and I saw that there wasn´t enough space, so the students of this school couldn´t play well, and the school wasn´t in good conditions, so we went to a playground near to the school.
I met to a girl called Valentina, she is 6 years old and she is in first grade, her father is soldier and he is in the hospital, and her mother is a cooker, and she doesn´t have many resources. I shared a snack with her and we played in the playground with other children.
I think that I can help by giving them clothes for children and their families and I can give them some groceries.
It was a beautiful experience and I hope that I can return and play and share with my new friend.
I will always remember the day I got this new friend.

ReplyDeleteIn thursday 17th of march, I come to "La Libertad" school, in the Bolivar neighborhood, I went with my friends of Cristo Rey school, it was so funny, I hope it like you.
First we arrived in a bus with our seventh grade friends, we enter in the school and I like it, it was so warm, we go to the playground and the principal of the "La libertad" school presented us the children, the school was so small and they went with us to the out playground near the school.
I met to a girl called Katherine, she is six years old, she was so nice with me, she said me that she was good with the things she have and she said me that she have five sisters and one mother and father, but they are divorced, her dream is to go to live in Bucaramanga, I talked with she, we shared a snack and we play in the playground with other children.
She said me that she want to have new friends, because she wasn't have friends, I said she that she have to socializate with the other children in the "La Libertad" school and share with they.
I said she that I'm doing her dream realy, because she got a new friend, that is ME.
I hope to go other time to this school, because it was a beautiful experience.
I hope that when I go again to this school she remember this thursday.

ReplyDeleteIn this oportunity I going to describe one of the best moments in my life; the day I went to the Libertad School at May 17th. My great school, Cristo Rey, planed a travel which objetive was meet one boy of the school, and talk with he/she.
The school was beautiful. Just you have to see, and you can know that the boys are friendly and good. Also, I can see there the more interesting pictures on a wall I never saw.
OK, let´s go to the best paragraph. My boy´s name is Cristian. He can be small, but in his own his very big, because he is good with all and he can make to all his classmates friends. He lives in Simon Bolivar neighboorhood. He has his parents, also he has a brother, and the best thing is that they always try to have a moment to play with he.
I think we can help them being friends, for start, and then we can give us the things that they need because they going to know that we are and doing it with the objetive of help them, because we are friends. Also, I think that this causes are an example of that, if we want to make a best world, we have to be, at first, FRIENDS.
Well, that was my travel. I hope that you can do a similar one.

ReplyDeleteIn Thursday 17th of March, I come to "La Libertad" school, in the Bolivar neighborhood, I went with my friends of Cristo Rey school. I was very excited! Because I got a new friend.
It was in the morning we were in the school, it was already hour of leaving so we enter to the buses with the children of seventh grade. We arrive to "La Libertad" school and they formed us in the playground near to the school, there they told us that we had to adopt to a kid and to share with this kid, they gave us a leaf that we had to fill with that kid.
I received the leaf and I wanted to adopt a girl so I saw all the children but a beautiful girl was so among them I invites her to come with me, she calls himself Estefanía, I present me then we sit down and there I asked him different questions to fill the leaf that they had given us and to know but on her.
She is seven years old, she has one sister and her sister is four years old, she lives whit her dad, her mom and her sister, she lives in Bolivar neighborhood, I can't remember how her parents and their sister are called and she doesn't know how old are her parents but I can remember that her father works picking up garbage and her mother don't work, she really like to run, play with dolls and the most important thing she loves to have a good time, she is good whit the things she had because she had the basic things, for example: she had water, electricity, food but no much, toys, the uniform and a happy family.
After we meet I gave her the breakfast and she liked her breakfast and I like it because that was the idea, then I asked to Stephanie what she wanted to play and she had many ideas which we didn't know whit which started, we decided to play hide and seek, then we play with my friends and the girls that they adopted, we play too many things to run, hide and seek, the wolf, the bridge, etc ... In short we play too many good things but it was fun and Stephanie really liked it.
I really like to help Estefania with some thing like: some food, some dolls, some clothes and in special I like to spend a lot of time with she!
I really enjoy it, it was a really good experience.

ReplyDeleteIn Thursday 17th of May, I come to "La Libertad" school, in the Bolivar neighborhood, I went with my friends of Cristo Rey schoo. I was berry happy because i got a new frien.

I saw some kids,but i want to adopt a girl so i saw a girl called Nuri. She is 7 years old,her hair is black and her eyes too,we give some snaks to them. She was bery happy she tell me that her favorite fruit is the apple,she tell me that when she grow up her dream is to be a singer, and she wants topay her brothers collages,and buy a house for his mother. Her father die bit she loves her mother and brothers,her favorite food is the pasta,her favorite subject is spanish.
I think that we can help them whit school suplies,and a school uniform,some food,and some thinks like cloths and some toys that them can play her favotite toy is phoo i never forget that day because I got a "new friend"
I really enjoy it, it was a good day.

It was already hour of leaving so we enter to the buses then we talking all the road. We get in the school "la libertad " they are organized and we also. After it we adopt a kid an talked to her. I buy a juice and cake.
I adopt a girl your name is liliana . she is 5 years old, her eyes are brown and her hair is black we play lot I think she had fun. She was very happy,her favorite fruit is apple she wants to be teachers of math . She have one brother his name is juan jose an one sister her name is maria an the have one mascot his a hamster the favorite animal is dog .
I thing that we can help some food , toys , cloths. ¡ she is my new friend ! I WANT TO GO BACK.

ReplyDeleteThe last thursday 17th may. I went to La Libetad school, in Bolívar neighborhood. I went with other students from Cristo Rey school.
First we arrived to the school, we entered and I saw that there wasn´t so nice, students were not happy, only stick to each other.
I met to a boy called Juan Diego, he has 6 years old and hi is in first grade, her father is builder, and her mother is a housewife, and she doesn´t have many resources.
I think That I can help by giving Them clothes, food, Some school supplies, plushies and more
It was a beautiful experience and I hope that I can return and go and share with my new friend.

THE DAY I`VE GOT A NEW FRIEND

It was May 17th of 2012 and i went to the "LIBERTADOR" school. I went there with my classmates and my English teacher because we wanted to meet new people. The school is ubicated in the south east of Tunja in "BOLIVAR" neighborhood.
The school was small, it had a small patio, few classrooms and I think two bathrooms. As it didn`t have enough space, some of us had to go out of the school to meet this new friend.
The person I met is called Felipe Andres, he is seven years old, He is studying at first grade and he has few friends. He told me about his life and it was very interesting to exchange share information.
I can help my new friend giving to him tool like: books, notebooks, colors, toys etc. Also, I can share some snacks and have time to play with him. I would like to go back to the school and share anecdotes of my scholar life.

There at la Libertad school. where we were was not very nice, and in good condition, not too Organised. but for children that school is very nice and I think they think is the cutest in the world .
I found a very young girl named is esperanza, is 4 years old. has long brown hair, light brown eyes, likes to play fuck, hidden, the wolf and the horse .
Needs, toys, clothes, food, affection, bed, books, notebooks, uniforms, pencils, pens, eraser and much, much love .

I was with my classmates and 3 teachers to visit students from LA LIVERTAD school located in Bolivar neighborhood. We meet other people.
First we enter, but the scool is very small and not in good conditions , we couldn't play,run... so we went to a playground near to the school. The playground was very big and we play with other people. There were 100 hundred students between boys and girls. Some of then dont have school supplies.
In the school was there teachers and director of it.
also the childrens were from 1 grade to 3 grade.
I stayed with my friend Juliana Hernandez. I meet a CHARY she was 6 years old and she is in 3 grade.
She was black hear brown eyes. She is shy,tender and beatiful girl. Her fhather is builder and her mother is builder to. She have 3 brothers. Her best friend is Valentiana she have 6 years old.
Chary and I play wiht Valentina and other childrens.
Chary only have 1 uniform a pair of socks and she tell me of her house is no in a good conditions.
I can held Chary of her needs and providing not only material thing if you do not also friendship and much support.
I can help her with food ,toys ,clothing, blankets and more.

ReplyDeleteLast thursday 17th march I went to "La Libetad" school, located in Bolívar neighborhood. I went with other students from Cristo Rey school.
The school is a bit poor with no resources when we did not all fit so hirnos play for a public field where we are with them and adopt the conosimos and we had a good time. Then take the onces and went to play.
His name is andres, he has seven years old, lives with his family, which make it up, father, mother, uncles, grandparents and cousins. He lives in the neighborhood bolivar. I do not remember the name wind their parents but the father is a truck driver and his mother a housewife. He likes to have fun playing with her cousins eat and laugh.
He has basic things like food clothing and toys home. But the shirts do not have cream for brushing teeth nor the school sweatshirt.
After we play caught with other children in school christ the king and the school where he studies. The design is the step conoserme well as I liked him.
I really like to help with a balonm andres, with the cream of the teeth, with the school sweatshirt and some shirts.
I had fun and I have a good time and I had fun being with him.

ReplyDeleteIt was thursday, may 17, 2012 i was withmy classmateto visit students from "la libertad" school.
When we got to school, I saw that the space is very small and some children did not have uniform, and we had to go to a playground near the school for all children and some on them dont haveschool supllies.
I met a yesica that day i decided help him she is 4 year old, she is black hair, brown eyes and she is beautiful.
I want to give yesica many dolls, too many clothes and things that do not use but are in good condition. To be more happy than it is.

ReplyDeleteOn Thursday May 17th, I went to escuala "Freedom", the bolivar in the neighborhood, I went with my school friends Cristo Rey, the sixth grade, seventh and eighth. There I met many children.
The school was large but did not have very good sections heramos many went to a field that was near the school, each adopted a child, we ask your details where they lived and what was their greatest need.
I found a new friend his name was Carlos, the second nine, he lives in the neighborhood of the bolivar with his family his father, his uncles and his grandparents lived well, had a per need their greatest need was school sweatshirt.
I can help the school sweatshirt buying him, so he can go with your current sudarera common and so I could help and I would feel a better person.
I hope someday to have this experiecia.

ReplyDeleteThursday May 17 I and seventh and eighth grades six christ king school we visited the school in the neighborhood liberating freedom school was not in top condition and not very pretty.
But the good thing is that school is a little big but as we were many had to go to a playground near there escogion each child and asked where he lived with that man needs who lived what was the profession of his parents if he had brothers.
but I found another friend his name is Sergio Daniel is in the first seven years old he lives with his mother and grandmother has a pet dog named most necsesidad MOTAS is a coat and shoes for the Coleg I could help buying him shoes and his jacket so he can go to school in full uniform but also I can help by giving -toys -clothes -food -and other utensils

ReplyDeleteI will tell you abot our experience when we visited "la libertad" school the last thursday 17th of may, the students from our school of 6th, 7th and 8th had a unforgettable experience.
the school wasn't very big, so we had to go to a multideportive that was at the side of the school, there we met to "our" children and each student from Cristo Rey school adopted a child, the school wasn't beatutiful because the children there don't have many money.
there I met to FERNEY BOHORQUEZ RODRÍGUEZ, a cute boy, he presented me to all his friends and with some classmates we organised games to "our" children, it hurt when we had to return to our school, Ferney is 6 years old an he studies in 1st 2
all the boys there looked peaceful, but when playing soccre the change their personality.when we adopted Ferney i had to fill a paper page with Ferney's information.
he is my friend, and I feel happy with this, i can help him giving:clithes, food, toys and affect, this activity was pretty good because we looked how is the live of these children.

In this moment, i am talk about my xperience when i visited to "La Libertad" school. My school is make a campaigned with these childrens, the childrens isn't have it's whit our have: Toys ,Boocks,Pensols,etc.
This school dont have large parts. It's have from kindergarten to third grade. The neighborhood it's call Bolivar's neighborhood,it's shcool is ubicate in the southwest of the city of Tunja,capital whit Boyaca,Colombia.
The school's proyect's is adopted a childrin from te Libertad's school. This children became a the best friend in other school. Your's name is DAVID ALEXANDER CORTES. This children is in teh second grade whit the Libertad'school. In this moment David and my it's eat a breakfast and played whit your friend Ivan and Margarita for second grade. Whit the finish it's say "goodbye Ivan" and iam say "goodbye David". In this day i am have a day I've got a new friend

ReplyDeleteOn Thursday May 17th, I went to escuala "Freedom", the bolivar in the neighborhood. I went with my school friends. I was excited to meet them. I went in the morning and take yasmin, a girl of 7 years with whom to share my lunch. Her father is a bricklayer and also works at another school. Her mother is a housewife. She has an older sister and live in the jordan neighborhood. What is missing are school supplies, holster, case. We made a promise, that if she behaved well at school I would lead what she needs and what she need. Then we play with other girls and had a great time.But something had to ruin us we had to go, i was so sad .I promised I was going back but other than that. I felt well i got a new friend.

When I met Luz Dary, I decided help her. She is six years old. She has black hair, brown eyes, freckles, she is thin and small. She has two brothers and two sisters. She lives with her parents and I know that his favorite icecream is the blackberry flavor.
I really enjoyed to know her, now she is my new friend.
